Every Lomax House candles and fragrance bars are hand-poured in small batches, which means no two are ever quite the same. Natural soy wax may show slightly frosting, air bubbles, or small variations - these are not flaws but part of the charm and uniqueness of a handmade product
We recommend burning your candle for 2-4 hours at a time. This allows the wax to melt evenly across the surface, creating what’s called a ”full burn pool” A full burn pool is what helps prevent tunneling (where wax builds up around the sides) and also ensures the best fragrance throw and longer life of you candle. Burning for longer than 4 hours can cause the wick to mushroom or the glass vessel to overheat, which may affect safety and performance.
Yes - we encourage it! Once your candle is done, just clean out any leftover wax (there should be minimal if you trimmed your wicks and allowed for the first burn pool) repurpose the container as a decorative piece or storage jar. This showcases our commitment to sustainability.
