Yes - trim your wick! 4-5mm before each burn - not just the first time! This helps keep the flame steady, reduces soot and smoke and prevents further potential mushrooming of the wick. A properly trimmed wick will give you a cleaner and longer lasting burn see Accessories Edit for available candle care kits.

Absolutely. Lomax House soy candles are made from 100% natural soy wax, biodegradable, vegan friendly and free from toxins often found in paraffin wax. When burned correctly, soy candles are safe and provide a cleaner burn for your home

We recommend burning your candle for 2-4 hours at a time. This allows the wax to melt evenly across the surface, creating what’s called a ”full burn pool” A full burn pool is what helps prevent tunneling (where wax builds up around the sides) and also ensures the best fragrance throw and longer life of you candle. Burning for longer than 4 hours can cause the wick to mushroom or the glass vessel to overheat, which may affect safety and performance.

Every Lomax House candles and fragrance bars are hand-poured in small batches, which means no two are ever quite the same. Natural soy wax may show slightly frosting, air bubbles, or small variations - these are not flaws but part of the charm and uniqueness of a handmade product

Yes - we encourage it! Once your candle is done, just clean out any leftover wax (there should be minimal if you trimmed your wicks and allowed for the first burn pool) repurpose the container as a decorative piece or storage jar.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
